Late Work:

Most student work is done IN class, so it should only be incomplete if the student was absent that day.   Students are responsible for using class time for the task at hand.
Expectations
  • Students must turn in assignments in on time. FRIDAYS are folder check days.  The work from the week is DUE on Friday or the last day of the week (if it is a short week)
  • Teacher will mark “T” or a grade in IC to show that work is turned in on time within a week of the due date.

Late Work
  • Students have 1 week to turn assignments in for partial credit (the score will drop one letter grade - 10%).

  • After 1 week, NO 10th grade Pathways teachers will accept late work, except for situations with extenuating circumstances.

NOTE: Students can earn back points by doing revisions or alternative project/assignments that they advocate for.  Students must come to see teachers if they want to improve their grade. It is up to the teacher to decide how many points students can earn back and when the opportunity will be provided.

**Exceptions can and will be made due to circumstances.  I understand that things can come up and that students have lives outside of the classroom.  The student needs to come to me and work out a plan to complete the work as well as set a reasonable new due date in order to receive full credit.
